Join us at the Metanomics Main Stage on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. PST as Dusan Writer (Doug Thompson) hosts a discussion of upcoming Second Life features. You can also participate live via the Web.
Mesh imports, synchronous in-world Web browsing, document sharing, a new enterprise portal, avatar phone numbers, a new viewer – these are some of the many features Linden Lab previewed at the recent Second Life Community Convention in San Francisco. Any one of them could have a significant impact on how enterprise uses Second Life and on the current user-generated economy.
This meeting of the Community Forum will focus on a brief description of each feature followed by a discussion of its possible use. There will be a brief opening review of the overall goals of the Lab’s road map for Second Life. Join us for a discussion of where Second Life is headed, the opportunities and challenges, and what these features mean to you.
