Sarah Hutchinson (Esbee Linden – pronounced “S.B.”) is the Product Manager for the Viewer. With Linden Lab for about 16 months, Sarah began her time at Linden Lab as the Program Manager for the Viewer 2 project working with design and engineering teams to plan out, schedule, and implement the new Viewer, and moved over to Product Management in the fall to focus more on driving our vision for the future of the Second Life Viewer. She is a long-time Resident of Second Life with experience building, scripting, exploring, blogging, and was active in the Mentor program during its tenure.
Prior to working at Linden Lab, Sarah was an Interactive Developer and Designer with 15 years of experience in the Interactive/Web-space, working with web companies and agencies large and small – including Organic, where she was the lead engineer for the Dodge International Team. Her most recent job as Interactive Lead at a small start-up drew her even closer to Second Life where she worked with small to mid-size companies teaching them how to lever the power of Second Life to change the way they do business.

I have two questions:
one, also important for education in SL, I always look for my education programma in search-events-education which gives me an easy insight in the Events. Obviously I could from the SL website, but I prefer doing it all in world. Why has the Events option disappeared from the Search because I cannot find it.
Second why is there no more Media Buttons Panel…now, to just turn off or on, I have to do three or more clicks to turn music or video on or off…unlike the older one where I could just have my media panel
I do like the new lay out for inventory, profile, friends etc…so these are just small points.
Thank you.

Metanomics takes place during my workday, and it’s difficult for me to attend. That said, I’ve enjoyed it time-shifted on my iPod. Unfortunately, neither this episode, nor the previous one, will successfully download for me in iTunes. Help!
