Now entering its third season, Metanomics has a rich history and a vibrant community.

We draw both guests and our audience from communities that are shaping the development, policies, research, use and understanding of the metaverse. These communities include:

- Executives of real-world enterprises using virtual worlds to achieve their real-world strategic goals;

- Virtual entrepreneurs serving both real-world and virtual-world clienteles;

- World developers and policy-makers shaping the virtual world industry;

- Academics studying and educating these communities, and using virtual worlds as research laboratories;

- Users of virtual worlds who are interested in learning about the evolution, challenges and rewards of virtual worlds.

This Web site has been launched to help give voice to those communities. Our goal is to provide a place for individuals and organizations to stay up-to-date on events and participate in discussions. For those who are new to virtual worlds or who are exploring how they might use virtual worlds for teaching, research, enterprise or content creation, we hope that this site can provide a jumping off point to rich resources and insights. To that end, we will be launching a series of “Insight” papers based both on past shows and on current research and trends.
