Events of Interest:
1. This is National Robotics Week and the SL IEEE is mirroring events with a week-long schedule of events occurring in Second Life. Several members of their community will join us this Thursday for the Metanomics Community Forumat 12pm SLT to discuss both events, and the implications of the work being done using Virtual World environments.

2. There is a senior economics student doing research on “network effects” in SL, who needs subjects.
From the notecard:
The experiment runs with four people at once. So have your friends sign up with you! However, if you come over by yourself, you can wait for the next three unpartnered people to arrive. The experiment will run every 15 min, so don’t worry about finding a slot!
Also check “http://cdspace.co.cc/SL/onlineCUHSRform.pdf“ for an Informed Consent Notice. Please contact Rykx Vantam, the experiment’s coder, with any questions, concerns, or bugs in the scripting and construction of this experiment. For questions about the experiment itself, please contact either me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or my advisor, Dr. Gretz, at email@example.com.”
