Metanomics returns on October 4th on a new day – Monday, same time (12:00 PST/SLT), same place!

The shift to Monday brings Metanomics back to its roots. With over 100 episodes not everyone will remember that Metanomics had its start on Mondays – so it’s a lot like coming home.

The upcoming season launches with none other than Robert Bloomfield himself as guest. Robert has spent much of the past year working on a project that utilizes the lessons he’s learned from virtual worlds and their economies to create a model for studying ‘real world’ economies using immersive technology. He’ll discuss his work as the Director of the Business Simulation Laboratory at Cornell, and provide an overview of how economies are not dissimilar to game mechanics, and will explore what this means to the future of research.

Our weekly community forums will continue on Thursdays, and look for a continuation of the Metanomics Masterclass series held this summer.
