The Emerald alternative viewer for Second Life has grown to be the avowed favorite of content creators and builders. Supposedly, it is the viewer used to log 50% of all SL user hours. This past week has been filled with surprising revelations and major shifts for the development team behind it. Let’s review the chronology as well as the demands made by Linden Lab in order for the viewer to remain on the approved list of Third party Viewers for Second Life.
