Today,  on the Metanomics Community Forum, we’ll speak with artist Gracie Kendall / Kris Schomaker, who has recently finished her master’s thesis project exploring her multiple identities across Real Life and Second Life. She is the author of “The Gracie Kendal Project” blog on WordPress (as well as the book of the same title) and will bring some of the graphical images from the blog. In addition, look for an installation of her paintings near the emerging Metanomics Community Space elsewhere on the region.

About her art, Gracie says: My work is a manifestation of my belief in freedom, diversity and hope. I believe in a world culture where everyone is accepted and considered equal. Unfortunately though, I do know that I’m in a world where people are judged and stereotyped based on labels and appearance. I believe that my art works to cut through these labels by connecting people and communicating on an emotional level. 

Gracie just self-published an 80 page book in real life about “The Gracie Kendal Project” which includes pictures of the project, hear art and images from her second life.
